Passengers aboard British Airways are set to access high-speed wifi onboard at no cost after a major partnership from SpaceX's satellite provider.

No-cost plus Quick Wifi Available to Everyone

British Airways stated that this no-cost, โ€œreliable and lightning-fastโ€ connectivity offering from Starlink will be accessible to customers in economy, premium economy, and premium cabins from the coming month.

Broad Rollout Throughout Several Airlines

The umbrella company for British Airways, the airline group, confirmed it had secured an partnership with Starlink to provide wifi services on over 500 planes operated by their carriers, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus Vueling.

Seamless Internet from Boarding to Landing

The airline explained that the introduction of this technology formed part of a ยฃ7bn โ€œupgradeโ€ initiative and will offer uninterrupted wifi coverage for passengers from the gate through landing, also when they are flying across oceans and far-off locations.
